If you are ready to take the survey you can click the yellow button on the home page to begin! If you want someone from the team to contact you about the study, please fill out the google form at the bottom of the home page. You can also send us an email at ruatwin@regis.edu.

NO, never. We are IRB-approved and are bound by rules of confidentiality so can't share your contact information or any of your data.

NO! We're just a group of students and faculty learning about genes and environment, doing a research study. We promise.

At this point we do not have funds to pay participants, but we hope you will participate as a volunteer! We hope to have funding for follow-up studies in the future.
How long does the study take?

The survey should take about 20 minutes, it is 120 questions.
Is this survey a one-time commitment?

It can be. At the end of the survey we will ask if we may re-contact you in the future if we have any questions or follow-up surveys. If you say yes, this is expected to be no more then once or twice a year. You can always say no. If you do say yes, but change your mind, you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. We will never share your contact information with anyone else.

Yes! You can stop the survey at any time and you are not obligated to submit your answers. We want you to be comfortable through the process.
Will I get to see the results?

Yes and no. At the end of the survey we will ask if you would like to receive information about the study results. If you say yes, once we have collected all the data and published or presented conclusions, we will send you an email with our findings. However, we won't have any results from just your data to share with you, all results will be group results.

Can I still participate if I am a fraternal twin or triplet?
Yes absolutely! We need data from both fraternal twins and identical twins in order to do the statistics to assess genes and enviroment. Also, data from any number of multiples can be used for our research.
