Dr. Rebecca Betjemann has been a faculty member in the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at Regis since 2008. She worked on a twin project in graduate school at the University of Denver, and then did a post-doctoral research fellowship for three years at the Institute for Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado, doing statistical analyses of twin data.

Madison Hand is a twin from Fort Collins Colorado! She is working towards her bachelor's degree in neuroscience with a minor in psychology and biology. She has aspirations of continuing her education at Medical school, to then become a surgeon. Madi is currently working on her undergrad research certificate to use in her research going forward. Madi plays on the Regis Women’s Soccer team and has worked as a soccer coach for 3 years. She enjoys spending time outside and hiking with her dog in the mountains. Madi has been working on this project for a couple of years now and is excited to start finding results.
Kelly Parker is from Naperville, Illinois. She is in her senior year, working towards her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in religious studies. She is interested in studying the different ways that people find meaning in their lives. She hopes to continue her education in graduate school and use her research to help others. In the summers, Kelly decorates ice cream cakes at her local dairy queen. She is known by her coworkers and the customers as the ‘cake lady’. In her free time, Kelly loves to express her artistic side through painting and drawing. She also enjoys going for hikes and playing board games with her friends.
Sarina is from Fillmore, California. She is in her junior year, working towards her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with a minor in psychology. She has hopes of continuing her education in Physician's Assistant school and pursuing a career in Psychiatry! She is passionate about mental health and she aims to make a difference in people’s lives. Sarina works at a local second-hand shop in Denver and enjoys spending time outdoors in her free time. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places. One of her favorite things about going back home for the summers is getting to spend time at the beach with her friends and family!
